Brad Bowden

Senior Director of Business Development at QualiZeal

Brad Bowden has built a career of more than fifteen years helping organizations strengthen how they build, test, and deliver software. His work centers on improving quality engineering practices and guiding companies through practical digital transformation efforts. By working closely with executives and technology teams, he helps organizations align software reliability with broader business goals. Through consistent collaboration and a disciplined approach, he has supported companies seeking to deliver better technology products while reducing risk and improving operational performance.

Over time, Brad has become recognized for his commitment to quality engineering and enterprise technology partnerships. His professional philosophy emphasizes listening carefully to clients and connecting technology solutions directly to measurable outcomes. Rather than focusing on abstract concepts, he works to ensure that quality engineering programs support real business improvements, including stronger software reliability, faster development cycles, and improved customer experiences.

Business Development Leadership at QualiZeal

Bowden currently serves as Senior Director of Business Development at QualiZeal, where he leads business development activities across the Southeastern United States. In this role, he focuses on building strong relationships with enterprise organizations that want to improve their technology operations and software delivery practices.

Through direct engagement with leadership teams, Brad helps organizations understand how disciplined quality engineering can strengthen both operational performance and product reliability. By maintaining a consistent outreach strategy and focusing on long-term partnerships, he has helped expand the company’s presence across the region.

Bowden's efforts have helped secure several Fortune 1000 clients, strengthening the company’s reputation as a trusted technology partner. These relationships were built through steady communication and a clear focus on helping organizations solve complex technology challenges.

A central part of his approach is to ask clients about their desired business outcomes before recommending any technical strategy. Once those goals are understood, Brad works to connect quality engineering solutions directly to those objectives. This process helps organizations identify risks earlier in the development cycle, improve release confidence, and shorten feedback loops between development and testing teams.

Experience Scaling Technology Consulting Firms

Before joining QualiZeal, Bowden served as Senior Director of Business Development at Cigniti Technologies. During this period, the company expanded its global presence and became widely recognized as one of the leading firms in the quality engineering industry. His responsibilities included leading commercial expansion efforts across the United States, with a strong focus on the Southeast region.

While in this role, Brad helped secure several Fortune 500 clients and supported the company’s growth within the enterprise services market. His work required more than simply closing deals. He remained actively involved with clients to ensure that delivery teams could meet expectations and that commitments made during the sales process translated into successful long-term relationships.

By maintaining strong executive-level connections and supporting project accountability, Bowden helped build trust between the company and its clients. This approach reinforced the importance of reliability and follow-through in enterprise technology partnerships.

Earlier in his career, he served as Head of Sales for the United States consulting division at QualityKiosk Technologies. In that position, he worked to expand the company’s consulting presence and build stronger partnerships with enterprise organizations seeking support in performance engineering and software testing.

Focus on Quality Engineering and AI-Driven Testing

Quality engineering has remained the central theme of his professional work. Over many years, Brad has observed how ineffective testing strategies can slow software releases, frustrate customers, and ultimately impact company performance. In contrast, disciplined quality engineering programs help organizations protect their brand while accelerating innovation.

As artificial intelligence becomes increasingly part of modern software systems, Bowden believes quality engineering must evolve alongside these technologies. AI-driven platforms introduce new complexities that require stronger testing strategies and careful oversight.

Brad often explains that organizations cannot successfully scale artificial intelligence without developing high-quality engineering frameworks that address AI-specific challenges. At the same time, artificial intelligence can also strengthen quality engineering itself by identifying patterns and issues that traditional testing approaches may overlook.

Service to the Technology Community

His leadership extends beyond his corporate responsibilities. Since 2017, he has served on the Board of Directors for the Technology Association of Georgia. Through this position, Brad supports initiatives designed to strengthen the regional technology ecosystem and encourage collaboration among technology professionals.

Bowden has also participated in programs connected to the Data Governance Society, which promotes responsible data management and ethical technology practices. These initiatives encourage organizations to develop stronger frameworks for protecting and managing data responsibly.

In 2024, Brad received the Technology Association of Georgia Impact Award in recognition of his support for the Data Governance Society and his contributions to responsible technology leadership.

Community Engagement and Education

Beyond the technology industry, he remains actively involved in community initiatives in Atlanta. Brad serves as a Digital Champion with Inspiredu Atlanta, an organization dedicated to improving digital access and technology education for families across Georgia.

Through this work, he supports programs designed to reduce the digital divide and help students develop the skills needed for careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

Bowden also volunteers with Piedmont Park Conservancy, helping preserve and enhance one of Atlanta’s most valued public spaces. His involvement reflects a broader belief that professional leadership should include civic engagement and community support.

Education and Professional Foundation

Brad earned a Bachelor of Arts from Georgia State University, where he was named to the Dean’s List. He also attended North Carolina State University, which contributed to his academic development.

His educational background, combined with years of experience working with technology consulting firms and enterprise clients, has shaped a disciplined leadership perspective. Over time, he has built a strong network within the regional technology community while continuing to support organizations seeking to improve software quality and operational performance.

Brad Bowden has built a career defined by steady results, practical leadership, and long-term partnerships. Through his work with enterprise organizations, industry groups, and community initiatives, he continues to support the advancement of quality engineering and responsible technology innovation.
